Composite doors are made from a very smart material called glass-reinforced plastic, or GRP. This is a particular type of plastic that has been reinforced with fine glass fibres. Our composite doors offer a 1.9mm laminated GRP skin and offer anti dent and anti damage stability alongside a coloured, weatherproof surface - not only protecting the colour from fading but also preventing the elements coming in direct contact with the face of the door.
The integral 40mm polyurethene offers further stability and resistance again accidental, or forced, impact, but also improving the thermal efficiency by 6 times! Maintenance on the doors couldn't be easier: simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth and soapy water. The doors provide a great alternative to the traditional timber doors, meeting building regulations u-value requirements.
Available in a wide range of colours with a foiled pvc frame to match, we're sure to have an option that compliments your house and meets your requirements perfectly.
