Carlisle United and World Group partnership announced

World Group announce Carlisle United partnership!

Over the years, we've been actively involved in local sport. In various forms, we have provided sponsorship to local football teams, rugby teams, athletics competitions, the list goes on... This step sees us offer our backing to the only local professional football club.

"The sense of pride was overwhelming. To see a logo that you partially designed and introduced into the business be used in such an iconic way left me feeling emotional!" World Group Director, Matthew Spooner, sums up the partnership in two sentences.

"It is common to hear local PVC installers advertise on the radio, but does it really mean anything? Yes, it offers a sense of achievement, but does it represent something different to what everyone else is doing? I wanted to get our name out there in a different method. That's why I looked at what we have done in the past and took it to the next level." Matthew continues, grinning from ear to ear.

Carlisle United Sales and Marketing Director Phil King said: “World Group are huge United fans and the talks we have had with them about a range of sponsorship and partnership opportunities have been extremely positive. They had a real desire to work with us from the outset and we can’t overstate how important relationships like this are to the football club. We’re delighted that another strong local brand will be taking such a prominent position on our first team playing kit and we’re looking forward to watching our partnership blossom through what we hope will be a successful campaign.”

We will be offering our support and services to the Football Club to help develop the ground and customer match day experience. We see this as the rekindling of the partnership we used to have with CUFC, spanning back to the 1980's. Long may it last!
